Blake Bortles looked good in rookie debut for Jaguars

Looked better than any of the other rookie QBs, feeling better about the pick now!

I'm a niners fan, we didn't look good Thursday :/ injuries really hurt us, but hey, it's the preseason. We will probably go 10-6. Blaine Gabbert is terrible, pretty sure he wen't 3/11 with 1 interception. The Jaguars will be much better than last year

 

Yeah I still don't know why you guys gave us a pick for Gabbert!! but at least the 49ers are still really good so it wont matter.

 

Garropolo for the Pats looked good too, a lot better than Mallet our 2nd string QB. You really have to temper your excitement though as it's just the first pre-season game plus it's against back-ups mostly. Anyone can perform well for a game but still be mediocre.

Do the Jags have any Vets or anything at the QB position for Bortles to sit for the year or are they just doing trial by fire and throwing him in on day 1?

 

Henne but he sucks, and if Bortles keeps making Henne look like the rookie it will be hard to sit him.
