Just want some opinions on an incident

Hey guys, not sure if this is the right section to post in but I just wanted to get some opinions on an incident that had occurred on another forum.

So the seller was selling an account for 30M A/W. I contacted the seller and we agreed that I will pay the A/W price but I had to wait a few days since it had been botted on. I had to wait a few days incase of a delayed ban occurring (the seller was the one that suggested this). The seller said he reserved the account for me and on the post stated that the account was reserved for me.

So next day arrives and now the seller says the account has had alot of attention and someone else has offered 40M, would I like to pay more to get the account. They then deleted the post stating that the account was reserved for me and changed the A/W to no A/W.

We already had an agreement that I would purchase the account from him for the A/W.
I told him I didn't want the account anymore since we agreed upon it already.

I know this is business and all and sellers want to get the most out of selling accounts etc.
But we had an agreement already made.

What do you guys think?

 

Sounds like a scam if you ask me. Trying to milk u for more then recover

 

The seller is not a man of his word. I agree with ''BAS Pahy'' Seems fishy when he promised. Reserved and agreed upon a sale with you for the account.

 

It could go both ways.

Free market implies the seller is free to change his mind at any point until money actually changes hands.

If u had a written contract(formal) which u could say hey u expressly in writing agreed to this price(non verbally, i.e - not over skype but in a formal contract) u could make him give u the account but considering he'd just recover it and scam you anyway at that point probably best not to do the above.

My personal opinion is that unless u had a formal agreement(contract) with him its just an implied consent on his part not a formal consent until the transaction actually occurs between you two, he expressed his consent with ur price but didn't actually formally consent to it until the transaction took place.

I can express my consent to buy a bottle of water for $1000 to a store but until I actually pay that $1000 its just expressed consent, not formal consent unless I agreed in some legally binding document that I would pay $1000 for that bottle of water, The store cant come after me for that $1000 as I was just expressing my consent, not actually acting on that consent to make it formal. The action of the transaction is what moves the consent from purely being implied into being ironclad so to speak.

 

He's just an anonymous flaker. Happens all the time! I've wasted so much time and money on bonds getting people to do services for me and then they just ditch the agreement and long me out for a week before i have to call them out or just cut them off.

 

Hey man if it sounds sketch. Go with your instinct. If you had to make a post about it asking for other peoples opinions, Its probably best you back out of the deal and find a more Better/trusted account

 

To me it mainly sounds like a scam... dont get fooled
