Fifa Section?

Well, I feel Fifa should have its own section, incorporating all game platforms in said section (not 3 different sections)

We have a large number of users who buy/sell coins but no dedicated forums for them to talk about the game itself, thus leading to no posts about it at all.

These users normally have 10/20 posts and are not part of the community at all. Maybe a section for the game itself (not for selling/buying) would lead these users to get involved on Sythe itself. With the imminent arrival of FIFA 14 (less than two months!) it may even draw in new users.

Also, we have a few users who just play Fifa and are not interested in the buying/selling of coins. I, for one, would be very interested in said section and I know of a few other users who I play Fifa with regularly from Sythe.

EDIT: I am talking about a sub-section here by the way. Should have made this clearer. Didn't know how to word it properly!

I agree with this, Star Wars has its own section, and I'm sure FIFA is a bigger game.

 

Even though i dont really know what fifa coins are 100%, i have had alot of people in recent years asking me to buy/sell it to them, so it seems popular enough to have its own section i guess.

 

Support, a game as big as fifa should have a forum

 

fifa coin selling is a big market especially with a new fifa every year so it will always be there and it is most percent of xbox and psn live trades other than the memberships and msp

No support, although I have a soft spot for fifa I believe its addition as its own section is quite unnecessary. The activity generated from the market at the moment is not overwhelming (which of course will rise upon fifa 14s release) and even then could not carry itself. As for a fifa general discussion? It would be a dead section, period. Also, if my memory serves I believe this has been brought up and denied in the past, but idk, its been a while.

I agree! Every REAL man/boy in the UK will play FIFA! I know I'm queuing as soon as that new release drops in September. Defiantly a good idea.

 

Rather than Fifa, I think Xbox/Playstation discussion would be very popular.

I would agree with this, if you made a Fifa forum people would want a COD forum a Halo forum etc..

 

I can see where your coming from, but if you remember we already had a forum dedicated to xbox discussion, videos ect.. (essentially the same as psn/xbox discussion) and it had little to no activity.

As of right now I'm fine with how things are currently sorted.

 

Fifa already has a place to discuss things, over in the other games section. As it stands we don't see too many threads discussing Fifa as it is. No need to add a section nobody will participate in.

Just because the market is huge, it doesn't guarantee an active discussion topic.

I feel like Quatakai's echo, just trying to reiterate that if people wanted to discuss the game they'd already be doing it.

just because it has a large market doesn't mean it will have a active discussion area, i mean the only section i care for on this site anymore is the other games section, but i don't see much discussion of the game as it is, let alone enough to warrant a full dedicated section for it.

 

The reason no-one posts in the other game section is due to the fact it is rather hidden. I think a few games are deserving of their own "other game section" that don't.

 

well if all these people wanted to discuss it i sure there would be more threads popped up all over the place.

I'll have to agree with the Other-Games discussion thread being hidden. Sythe seems to be fitting a huge span of game discussion threads in a very discrete area with little to no activity. I'm active with steam, so I'd love to see the Other Games section more active.

Perhaps a solution would be to better format the page? Maybe expand a few game genre's to the front page instead of just saying "other." That would be a start to getting more activity on that side of the forum.
