So this is my first post although I have browsed and viewed this forum for some time now...I was trying to find a topic for just general questions about some things...I am obviously new and honestly just a Runescape player trying to buy some in game gold...I am very weary of getting scammed for my cash irl as I work very hard for it...I have heard mixed reviews and read many topics about scammers, and I am fully aware that it exists (I even read the topic on how to not get scammed)...As a new user with no posts, no vouches, and frankly nothing to show that I am not a scammer...which leads me to my question, how can I go about just getting some in game gp quick? I understand it takes time to get trusted but I honestly wanted to get it sooner than that would take. I have credit cards, debit cards, paypal, cash or w/e the method is and I can give out personal information leading the seller to believe that I am real and not a scammer, so is that really all I can do to get someone to sell me gp and not call me a scammer ? Thanks for the input!

First of all, let me direct you to this forum, the Gold Buying Section. In this forum, there are many trusted sellers that will give you great deals for your buck. (My personal recommendation would be Lucster).

Since you are new, unfortunately, no one is going to accept a Paypal payment from you, since the fraud rates are simply too high. Thus, unless you can create a Western Union bank account, your best option would be Player Auctions (playerauctions.com). More info can be found on the website, but it is basically a built-in Middleman for the kind of trade your looking for. Best of all, you can pay through Paypal!

Just want to throw out there, as you are a new member, Paypal could possibly be a issue, it depends on how much you are buying.


A REALLY good way to go, would be playerauctions, you use your paypal, BUT A. no one can scam. B. ITs 100% safe. and C. You get cheap gold compared to all these sellers..

Oh and another thing, when you order, the verification process takes less then 3 minutes (usually) and then you have your gold sent right over to you (As long as you order from someone whos online)

If you do go to Player Auctions, click on the letter "R" and click on runescape, if you scroll down you'll see many gold offers, and their prices, the first ones are a lot more expensive then the ones below, since they have 1000+ reviews, but in the next pages they sometimes have really good offers.
