Well I might be selling my account using Paypal, so if the guy who's buying Claims and cancels and the MM we use claims and cancels, would there be a chance of the buyer getting his money back.
yes its happened many times. people claim & cancel, but then they still manage to get their money back. paypal sucks!
Make sure they are verified. Then you tell them to send you like 1 cent with the shipping address. Then look them up on the phonebook and call them to verify its their account. This IMO seriously reduces the chance of them scamming you.
only if he files fraud but if the deal goes well and u trade with someone trusted then there should be no reason he files fraud. also what i do is get their phone number so know they wont file fraud
Yes, people do file claim & cancels but these are only partly effective. If you are a average joe Sythe member then you wouldn't know how to get past a C&C, although if you are more advanced or have had someone teach you, then you will be able to file a mini-lawsuit and claim it as fraud. Anyone can get any money back over PayPal if they know how. I reccomend MoneyBookers and Egold...
Credit Card payments can override Paypals system and there is nothing Paypal can do about it. My tip is for you to just make sure the person your trading with is not funded via a Credit Card.
yeah, it's easy to charge back if he's using credit card funded paypal. Make sure it's not and tell your MM to check too. Bunk funded paypal is safer. I currently use Paypal but im considering to use e-gold :]
E-Gold is shit. No chargebacks is fine. But the transfers etc.. Is just pure inconvenience. I rather get charged back then pay their ludicrous fees.
