Help me with wp patches.

Hey all, so here is my problem. First, i have had 3.3.2 wotlk, and stoped playing (privates ofc) and today, i decited i want to look how doesn new wow look. So i went to launcher, and saw that i need download 11gb~ and my internet is most shit in all europe. So i found some patches in google, downloaded for 3.3.x to 4.0.0 , was only 700mb~ then after this everything went shit. Then simple wow.exe didn't opening any more. But ok, i decided i will go till end no matter this crap. So i downlaod some more patches till 4.0.1a , everything was ok, patches installed nice, but wow.exe still not wrking. And now, i can't find normal patches nay more..all are .MPQ and idk how the fuck to open them..
ALSO, i heard Cata is about 7gb, but how? I counted that from 3.3.x to now i only installed about 2gb~ of patches, maby less...and i need to install also about 2gb till 4.2 , so how it can be 7gb ?
P.S. REALY SORRY FOR MY HORRIBLE ENGLISH, IT IS NOT MY BORN LANGUAGE SO IT IS PREATY HARD TO EXPLAIN THINGS LIKE THIS IN MY SITUATIONS.

 

If you're having trouble with the downloads I'd advise deleting everything, and downloading everything through the downloader client on Blizzard's website.

Also, it seems as if you're not downloading the expansions, just patches. If you use Blizzard's client you should be all fine.
