HELP Is it Possible to get Someones IP Address Threw Skype?

So this guy who scammed me added me to skype, asked to refund me, then said he just wanted to get my IP address...


A bit worried here, is that possible, what should I do?

 

You can IP-grab someone on Skype, yeah. I wouldn't lose sleep over it, most people just say they're going to DoS you and never do.

If they do you can always call your ISP as a last resort and change IP address.

 

People can use skype resolvers to get your IP, but they pretty much NEVER do anything with it, as they don't have the resources such as a decent booter. If you do get attacked, just makes sure you get a new IP.

 

Don't log into the Skype account if you do get attack for 1 month or 3 or 4 days after so u can get all your contacts and get new Skype (Skype resolvers work though the Skype name) IK because I seen them and how they work... Friend did it to me...

 

I'm 100% sure no one is going to bother DDoS you for a month straight..
You're safe, the most they can do is cut your net off for a few minutes, leave it for a day or two and you'll be fine.

 

As far as I know..all public Skype resolvers are currently down due to the latest Skype update?

 

If he were in a skype conversation with him he could just pull the ip off him the good old fashion way could he not?
