    Paypal help

Okay so about a month ago I got charged back $15. I didn't recognize who it was since the payment was no longer in my history. Then yesterday, I got charged back again from the same person. I had $7.99 in my account. It added $15 to my paypal and then removed $35 causing me to overdraft.

What happened? What is a chargeback settlement? Also can I just ditch this paypal without having to pay off the negative balance? My bank account is unlinked, but my home address is added and can't be removed.

Chargeback Settlement basically means that is what most likely paid by credit card, probably unregistered or unverified PayPal?
Taking payments from unverified or unregistered is basically asking to be chargedback.
Most Credit Card funded PayPal's can be chargedback, and considering PayPal charged a fee to use the Credit Card, when it charges back, it makes you pay for the fee.

And you can probably leave it like that, but any payments coming into that account will automatically deduct from the negative.
Otherwise, I don't see why you can't just let that account die.
Correct me someone if I'm wrong.
