What should I do?

I recently got my first Ancient Statuette from pking.
I don't know what to do though. Should I sell it before free trade to get the money and so I don't give jagex the chance to mess it up and make it worth 500k, or wait till after and maybe it would have a street price.

What should I do?

 

I would sell it to Mandrith now. I don't see Jagex giving it any extra value, nor can I see it having a street price, why would it get one?

indeed, just sell it now, I dont think those items will get a high streetprice because you cant use them for anything. or not even wear them!

 

Mandrith will most likely be relocated to the new PvP dungeon that Jagex has said will be added to the game. This dungeon is where you will be getting statues/brawlers/ancient armour, and seeing as you won't be finding any players to buy a useless item, Mandrith will need to be there to buy them.

 

sell it, its value wont change at all and i doubt people will buy them

 

I would just sell it, I highly doubt Jagex will take out Mandrith out of the game in order for it to have a street price.

 

You're gonna have to sell it now, as a street price doesnt make sense as the item has no use whatsoever, it's not even wearable and I'm almost positive they said mandrith will stay. correct me if im wrong.

 

Well, it could get a street like a disk... which is useless too...

 

You might as well hold onto it you can just sell it to mandrith after the update, for now wait and see what happens. It might become really hard to obtain the statuetes off of monsters.

This is the most logical answer. Mandrith will be relocated there, s players cant hunt revs and trade in their old PvP stuff.

 

If you can afford to go without the GP that it rewards you, I say keep it. As some sort of souvenir. If you need some extra money and you dont think it will have any value whatsoever in the future, sell it.
