    [HELP!] Computer purchases!

Okay, so here is my last thread; http://www.sythe.org/technology/1513622-i-have-few-questions-about-what-computer-get-next.html where I decided wether do buy an iMac or build a custom computer, I've decided to go with the better and cheaper option to build my own custom computer.

I was advised to make a new thread by FailedPure so nothing gets complicated!

    So basically, I need EVERYTHING.

I have a budget of around £600-700. Which in USD is; $962-1100

Blow me away with what you have!

    [HELP!] Computer purchases!

Nice monitor, anyways, nevermind about the case I suggested change it with this one http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-case-rc431pkwn2 for $35 :D since the HAF 912 is used to be cheaper..
edit: I'm sure what I suggested is pretty good, well, the best Radeon single-GPU, a beast CPU..
    Well you can upgrade these:
i5 3570k-i7 3770k, Hyper threading allows windows to see the 4 core i7 as an 8 core CPU
Z77-D3H -> Z77X-D3H/UD3H, for SLI ability to futureproof more incase you get a nVidia GPU and better OC abilities etc..
7970-> GTX 670/680, for CUDA since it really helps with adobe so if you video edit/3D render get the GTX 670 4GB/GTX 680
Hyper 212 Plus-> any better CPU cooler, if you want to highly overclock, you can try the new NZXT Kraken Series
Corsair PSU-> any 750W+ PSU to future proof CFX and such..
Memory doesn't need to be upgraded unless you edit and crap get 16-32 GB of RAM, BTW I picked 2133 RAM which is fast.
Add an SSD... Samsung/OCZ/Crucial/Corsair would work
You can change the HDD for a WD Caviar Black/Blue
Well, that's what I can think of!
    Hope I helped.

My best recommendation is to get SSD, wether you put it in JBOD, as cache disk or boot drive, it'll speedup things.

This is a brilliant build, you could downgrade the GPU to an EVGA GTX 660ti/650 and pick up a monitor alongside it.

Nerd's build is pretty good but if you want to spend $100 more dollars and a get a ssd that would be great. If you don't know what a ssd is, its a storage drive like a hdd but much faster. Anyways the monitor you picked out looks good but I don't know what quality hp is. Plus that seems a bit over priced but I'm not sure exactly. Not to forgot the fact that the screen on the imac is 2560 x 1440 and that is 1920x1080.

yes, I would highly recommend Risk it's build. VERY SOLID BUILD. Raptor does have some good advice. Whilst it would be a dowgrade by dropping the 7970 in favor of the 660ti, It's not going to hinder your performance drastically. You'll still have extremely good framerates at high settings, but you'll also be gaining CUDA capabilities.

Also, my advice to anybody would definitely be to pick up a SSD, but I can't say I would really recommend dumping a lot of money towards one. A simple 64 gig SSD is perfect as a boot disk. Then just use a mechanical HDD for all of your files/games/programs. Heavy programs like Photoshop can go on the SSD for the benefit of program loading times...but in most applications the difference is not that heavily appreciated. For soemthing that is averaging around 70-80 cents per GB, it's not worth it to spend huge money on a huge SSD. I'm not 100% certain about regular 2.5" SSD's, but I do know that in MSATA SSD's -the higher the storage capacity, the higher the latency.

Still rocks for the price, had to downgrade alil bit of thing like 2133MHz RAM to 1600, really not a big difference because I chose CL9 and 2133MHz comes at CL11 and got ya a nice 24" full HD Acer monitor, AsRock Z77 Extreme4, if you don't like AsRock, go with Gigabyte Z77X UD3H or Z77X D3H, but the AsRock accepts 2800 memory along with CFX/SLI it's bad-ass for the price!
Added a 120GB SSD, it's fast and good (not as fast as a new Samsung 840 Pro or 840) a 1TB HDD, it's a good choice you won't regret!

Looks aren't everything, I've seen some nice towers that are horrid for for computer builds. Check out http://www.nzxt.com/new/product_all.php for some nice cases, most of them are good for the money you put into them.
