Bans for RWT?

I showed someone my gold that I recently bought and he called me a RWTer, claimed he reported me, and said GF Account! My question is, how good of a chance is there I'll get banned for RWT? If I do get banned for it, will the gold / item(s) remain?

Note: I denied me being a RWTer and never gave any hints to being one.

 

Theres actually no proof in that report , you'll be safe.

 

My fear is that Jagex will launch a thorough investigation and realize the trade I made with someone not long ago for a huge amount.

I think it depends on the seller and the history of the seller. The seller might be a well-known RWT'er for Jagex.

 

As stated above ^ it does matter A LOT on the seller, whether they have had many bans themselves for RWT or wipres. Just dont buy RSGP to often...

Reporting really does increase your chances of a ban though, but they don't have any proof, except I bet jagex can see trade logs back to a certain date so it might look fishy that you have so much GP.

I'd just not bot or do any RWT for a few weeks.
Also if you do get banned it might be perm, and if it's not perm they will take off most/all of your gold items.

 

Your chances of being banned are low, but I would still transfer any wealth on the account to another account, preferably by duelling or staking.

I saw a guy yesterday, level 14, f2p, most stats < 50 and he had a phat + 200-400m. Now that's a guy who can be easily banned for 'RWT'.

 

When you report a player, no where is there an option to report for RWT. In fact, there's nothing close to it.

Did you know that there used to be such an option, yet that option was silently removed in a private update? Rest assured, nothing will happen to you. Jagex supports small-time rwt'ers like you who continue paying for memberships because RWT enhances your experience
