Reported for botting

So I was botting at moss giants for about 2 hours, and looked back at my progress and I see that this guy reported me from what he said in the chat. Does anyone know if i'll get banned? Or ways to avoid getting banned? I've stopped botting and i'm talking to him right now. >_<

 

nah chats aren't proof according to jagex I don't bother replying to half the idiots who ask me the price of my armor while I'm playing legit, they call me a botter i keep walking once in awhile I'll come out with something like "Sorry the only time I bot is with your mom, she loves to go all night " 3 days later ill be muted

just be like I'm on a slayer task and I don't enjoy talking to players but if hes already made a report theres really no need to convince him your not botting lol, usually with more reports you get more randoms which jagex believes bots can't solve although if your using auths you should have no problem

Dont bot for around a week, next time go to an unpopulated world or just babysit your bot and talk to noobs that thin you are botting, thats what i do

If you was using powerbot/rsbuddy, 90% chance of being banned. Don't bot on accounts you care about.

Jagex doesn't ban solely on in game reports because they know that a lot of reports are because people plain out ignore people talking to them, even if they aren't botting.

 

1 report doesn't really do anything, just try not to atract other people attention /w your gear, etc.

 

If you really wanna make sure you wont get caught botting, bot for 4-5 hours, do a quest. Rinse and repeat.

Jagex knows there are no questing bots. Therefore, if you quest, you have a small chance of getting banned.

 

Many players play with their chats off. If this is why he reported you then I doubt anything will happen. Just to be safe I'd stay clear of botting on that account for a couple of days or so.

 

Just play legit for a while - go PK, talk to people.

I think I got reported too because every 2-3 hours? I get random events...
At that time, I was babysitting so it was okay, My bot was constantly failing all random events and I got even more events but Till today, I'm still not banned. Half the time I was afking and Clicking random shit in Random events for hours lol. Yet still no ban.

If that's not suspicious enough then I don't know what is. xD

punjabi3 here stated that if you were reported, you get more random events so yeah, I'll just safely assume that I got reported too based on his post and what happened.

You are ok man you wont get banned. Not talking back has no proof that you are botting, most of the time people just don't want to talk when they are skilling or fighting etc.
If its on an account that you really care about I suggest only using premium bots like rsbots and RiD if you want less chance of getting banned.
Bot maximum of 8-10 hours a day to be in the safe zone (my experience) and also take a break and do quests or join a chat and talk or go to the ge and do something that bots for sure dont do.
Still this experience you had you shouldnt have any problems!
