Hey guys, i bought an account at level 60 on this site months ago, changed the email, recoveries and password but after i got it to a maxed out 70-99-1 pure around 4 months after buying, it has been hacked and ive no idea how, ive tried recovering so many times wont work.

so my question is, was it the original seller of the account that has hacked me? or have i been keylogged etc without me knowing..could someone possible hack your account without knowing the recoveries present, but knowing old email, passwords, date of creation and membership etc? im really upset about months of hard work down the drain, just want to know if it was the original seller has screwed me or ive been done by something else.

any help would be amazing thxxxx!

 

It could have been both.

You Might be keylogged.
The original owner can almost ALWAYS recvover the account
Maybe you've been phished, Don't enter your password anywhere.
etc.

I'd say it was the original owner though.

 

^^ Exactly. You could have downloaded a " P server " Or something, which had a keylogger attached into the file. Or you could have been phished.

( Phishing is where you enter your username/password and other creation deatails into another site. E.g. www.runescape2cheat.com ).

I'm pretty sure it wasnt the owner, even tho I don't know. 4 months is along time since they have updated the system so. Your best of to run a scan, and check if you are infected.

Go to www.microsoft.com and get there scan. - Its free and detects bascially anything my friend.
