[help] 9.9.09 "jagex ban event"

My friend was banned on 9/9/9 but the reason was macroing...

Bans for macroing were also issued but the reason for it had nothing to do with macroing, it's for being related to bug abuse. Svew and many other accounts owned by bug abusers were temp banned for macroing before they were permed for bug abuse even though they've never botted on them.

It seems to me an admin or staff member has manually banned you in game or the game has encountered a glitch. Bad luck, Jagex sucks. Go play a new game ^^.

i say you should get on the forums and speak out. If you get enough attention a Mod will have to investigate it.

its an old offense and it was someone who hacked my account 2 years ago..

Same happened to my 135. It is for "Bug Abuse"; if you click the Second Appeal shit, it'll show you the date commited etc and says "Bug Abuse".

If that screenshot wasn't faked, Theres new hope.

i just gave up on rs and my appeal was: Fuck off you Scumbags

i come back on in a few weeks just to check and it was ubanned for sum reason. Jagex are weird.

i'm not going to take this risk lol :S

The bans issued on 9/9/9 were for all the accounts related to bug abuse. Anyone who was banned likely had contact with a bug abuser, either knowingly or unknowingly. I had a friend who rarely logs in get banned just because I occasionally talked to him. I've never been on his account, he is not a cheater, and I've never discussed any forms of cheating with him.

ty.. and yes i don't know the reason, i already emailed them but they said they wont unbann me.. it was like a month ago ..

If an appeal has been submitted and it has been declined, the action taken will remain and the decision will not be reversed.

Please be aware that each appeal is carefully reviewed by a member of Jagex staff before a decision is made. There is no chance that an account will have had action taken against it without good reason. We also thoroughly check to see who was in control of the account at the time the offence took place.

All subscriptions are automatically cancelled if an account is permanently banned when payment is due.

Please note that a ban does not prevent you from creating a new account and attempting the game again from the beginning. Before doing so, I would recommend that you consult the 'Rules of RuneScape' which can be found at: http://www.runescape.com/kbase/view.ws?guid=rules_of_conduct. If you follow these rules, you will avoid situations like this arising in future.

Our decision on this matter will not change, so I would politely ask you to not submit any further messages on this subject.

On September 9th, Jagex banned a lot of accounts to review their accounts of unknown reason, and now they are unbanning some of them if they find they did nothing wrong. My account was one of them, and it was unbanned. If you didn't do anything wrong, just be patient. You'll probably be unbanned.

I also got a message from Jagex regarding the ban, I'll get on later and take a screen shot.
