Western Union is not safe in my opinion. Their fees are ridiculous and it cant connect to paypal. Only to your bank or if you pick up the money IRL.

Western Union is only safer in the interest of the seller if the buyer goes first. When the buyer sends the money through Western Union, they cannot retrieve the money back, unlike paypal with the Claim and Cancel method. Also, it is virtually untraceable.

In my opinion, Paypal is cheaper and easier to use, but Western Union seems to be preffered and for obvious reasons (Mainly the one stated above).

Wait.. Your saying Paypal is untraceable? FYI they track all IP's and ISP's when they are doing dispute investigations. Any irregularities you get limited. Which is why you never use proxies.

Also if you connect your PayPal to a Bank or CC they have your information and it is a legal document which can be used in court if fraud occurs.

paypal contains chargebacks. Which is when you just claim that your account was stolen and either the CC company or paypal will give you the money back (most of the time, right out of the scammed victems account). WU has been around since the 1800s and is perfectly safe. Downside is that you have to go to the WU location to pick the money up. most walmarts have them, and walgreens/cvs/rite aid

I prefer paypal but if you are the seller always make sure that the buyer does claim and cancel or else they will open a dispute and you will have to refund their money.
