Held at gunpoint

Just imagine yourself in your room just like any ordinary day, and all the sudden on this normal day an intruder breaks into your house and puts his gun to your head, you only have seconds to live and if you had any action to choose to save your life.

Verbally, physically, and mentally. You only got a few seconds to make your move in a life or death situtiation, what's your fate?

 

"Oh well, looks like I'm done for."

I would try to duck very forcefully so the gun wasn't pointed at my head anymore, and then in all honesty try to wrestle the gun away from him onto the floor then make an attempt to gouge his eyes out.

I guess I really couldn't say what I'd do, it's a totally different story if you're actually in the situation.

 

I'd say to myself, Well.. I've had a good run.

 

Honestly I wouldn't know what to do, no one's really prepared for that situation so everyone else saying that "Oh I would wrestle him and kick his ass" don't lie to yourselves.

 

I'd grab my TV remote, shove it down his throat first. Then I'd grab my joystick for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, and beat him with it. Once he is on the ground, I'll take the gun, throw it at him after whacking him with it, take my new TV and smash it down on him. If he isn't dead by then, I'll take that old metal pole from my closet and beat him TO DEATH with it.

Best. Murder. Ever.

 

I'm so sure you could take advantage of an older and stronger man, your just a kid, besides he has his gun held to your head.

My friend actually had a gun held to his forehead when he was really wasted, he kept saying to the guy in a loud, aggressive voice " Do it already, shot me!, shot me already." Eventually the guy with the gun hesitated of pulling the trigger and he took advantage of that very second by grabbing his gun and wrestled him to the ground where he had full control of the scenario and eventually knocked the guy out and phoned the Police.

I'm not saying to actually do this, but you never know.

 

It depends on how big the person is, and what position I am in. If I have access to knock his chest or legs I would duck and push at the same time. If he was knocked over I would run for it. If not do my best to wrestle him/her.

In a real situation, I am not sure. Most people would be paralyzed from shock.

 

Honestly he is probally gonna kill you anyways so why not go down fighting. I honestly would either plead for my life or try to stun him long enough to run.

To be honest, most people would stand there in shock for their few seconds, if you really only had SECONDS, no one would react fast enough to possibly understand and comprehend that they're going to die.

 

Don't know what I would do but I know I wouldn't just sit there and take it.

By verbally do you mean swearing etc? If so, then definitely not. I would try and talk to this guy and try to reason with him. If i get the vibe that this guy is going to kill me no matter what or his motive isn't robbery, the only option would be to react physically at that point. Otherwise, i would try and bargain with this guy or something.

 

If it is a life or death scenario, you better give it a shot because I know some of you have no lives, but atleast give it a go.
