    Automator or powerbot?

I recently purchased a Mac, on which a program called Automator comes preinstalled. I am considering using it to bot in RS, but I am concerned that I will be caught because of its simple nature. For those of you who are unfamiliar, the program can record your clicks and keystrokes for like 10+ minutes and then repeat them on a loop.

Were I to use Automator and record my clicks, I could also move the camera every now and then so that my clicks would be in a slightly different place in the game, but not on the screen.

My question is this, should I use this program to bot or am I better off with something like powerbot. (Note: I intend to bot fishing, runecrafting, and combat)

    Automator or powerbot?

I tried automator for a long time before I actually bought bots. It works well, but once you start moving the camera EVERYTHING messes up.

    NO

A mouse recorder can't solve randoms and you'd be screwed if one popped up. Besides, you'd have to babysit it and make sure the camera stays in one position.

It would be impossible to user automator to bot those stats. Fishing and combat both require you to click on different spots (fishing spots moving, monsters spawning in different spots), and you wouldn't be able to do rc because runescape automatically turns your camera a small amount every once in awhile, meaning eventually you camera will be flipped 180 degrees and your bot will be running away from the alter when it's suppose to be running towards it.

Really, mouse recorders are only good for things like alching and selling things to a store.

Well for the combat, I would be fighting aggressive monsters and just occasionally autoclicking clicking in the area to stay logged in, but as for the fishing, I suppose you're correct.

Aggressive monsters stop being aggressive after 15 minutes or so.
