    Best cheap laptop?

I'm looking for a cheap laptop under 850.00 that is fit to carry around and is not super tiny either. Mostly for internet/school usage and have at least a 2 year life.

Let me know any suggestions. I have already a sony and Hp laptops before and after a year they turn to total crap.
    Thanks!!

Check this guy out. It's 14" screen, so small enough to carry, but not crazy tiny. It will run games, and the only downside, personally, is a 500GB HDD (and 2.0Ghz/Core), but who needs that much space anymore when we have "the cloud"? http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/605...t-550m-dvdrw-wifi-n-hdmi-usb-3.0-6-cell-win-7

Here's another good one which is weaker in performance for games, but is built for artists and music lovers. http://www.slickdeals.net/permadeal...dobe-photoshop-elements-9-premiere-elements-9

Check out some deals on newegg. If you don't need it for gaming, something $400-500 will probably do the job for you. Maybe even consider a notebook for the improved portability and battery life.

Definitely would not recommend trying to build your own laptop. It's nothing like building a desktop, it's a lot more complicated and difficult.

Are you going to be gaming on it at all? If so, what games? If not, you don't really need one with a dedicated video card, so you might as well save yourself a few $100.

Well, I might once in a while play runescape. Regardless, I'm more into webcam/fast space internet. I am having a hard time to pick from, but I want something of quality too.

Dang. I personally don't like the deals you listed from Newegg (I'm a bargain hunter). But really, you don't even need to pay $400. #5 should do you just fine if you're only going to be playing Runescape and other low graphic games. Only your network adapter and internet upload and download speeds will determine how fast internet runs (the computer itself does not determine that).

The whole graphics thing changes if you're going to use 3D rendering software, and do any work with animations and/or very hi-detail images. So, if you are going to be doing that kind of stuff, get a dedicated graphics card. If not, #5 will still be fine.
