Have you ever met a deaf person? Thoughts

Not all deaf people can read lips.
Usally people that are born deaf have trouble learning to read lips.


She obviously wasn't dumb because she was deaf she might have had a brain problem or something.



I work with two deaf people, one can lip read heaps good and can talk well enough to understand.
The other cant lip read at all and can hardly speak, its pretty hard to work with him cause its hard to explain some things to him.

 

I met one, yes, he actually has a computer like Steven Hawkings, where he types what he wants to say, and it will say it for him, than you type back, so he can read it,.

 

I worked with a deaf guy at my old job. I was a cashier and he pushed carts. He was a pretty cool guy, he could read lips and sorta talk. He obviously wasn't deaf for his whole life, but he was deaf indeed :\.

 

Yeah i did met some of those,when i talked with them i used to write on a paper for them so that they understand what i want.

 

I met a deaf man when I was really young. We was cool, he tought me some signs and letters . He was really nice.

Yes, its quite difficult for me trying to Communicate with him,because after being with people who can hear you, you talk to s/he(i met a deaf girl(HOT)) like normal forgetting there deaf.

 

My uncle is deaf and he can't speak either. When i met him i was younger and didn't know why he wouldn't respond. When my parents explained i was like "kthxbye"...Weird for me at that age.
