    I just got my GCSE'S Back. My results were.:

    Maths: A*
    Physics:A*
    Biology:A
    Chemistry:A
    Business studies:A
    English:B
    English Lit:B
    History:B
    French:B
    DT:B


    My only aim in life was to be a doctor? Have i fucked up?

    It depends on your A level recommendations, if you can take say, the three sciences and Maths, and achieve an A or above at A2, you're fine.

    Have i Fucked up?

    Chemistry and Biology are the two most important grades for medical school, and even though I don't know the British system, it seems an A is a very good grade. As Finn said and even proved through personal experience, you can step up and do much better in the year ahead. Just make sure you are organized and don't let assignments slip behind you. Year 12 is a very important year. Good luck!

    You could just go into being an engineer since you got A* in Maths and Physics.. as for Chemistry and biology that's the most important including applied science for A level so you could still become a doctor depending on what you achieve at A2.


    edit: Year 13 is the most important..... A2 is also the hardest and you got to get A* in All science to go Med school I believe.

    this grading system is confusing. i'm from US so i know nothing about it. someone care to explain?
