I purchased a 126 OSRS account from Cr85 a few months back for $215. Seemed like he was a stand up guy and I didn't have any issues up until today when i tried to log in after taking a break for the holidays. I noticed my usual password didn't work so i figured the account had been compromised. I had assumed it was the original owner. After doing some research, it seems i was correct. He changed his RSN to one of his IRL nick names and he also used this nickname for all the recovery info he sent me originally and the login email to the account. I'm kind of just done getting scammed on here and its no ones fault but my own because this happened to me a few months ago with a different account as well. I just thought i was in the clear with this one because i had kept it so long. I guess i was wrong. I had about 300M worth of gear i used for raids as well. Luckily i keep my cash stack on my alt. Anyways, doubt we will hear back from this guy. I've already submitted a claim on paypal, Attempted to recover the account, and made attempts to contact him.
