Getting a shitton of randoms-fagex know I'm botting?

I think I heard somewhere that when you start getting a lot of randoms, especially for something that isn't even botted commonly, that you're about to be banned or they're looking into banning you. I've stopped the runecrafting bot for now, but is that actually a sign that I should stop, or am I fine?

By shitton I mean 4 in the last 2 hours. Don't know if that's actually a lot, but IME it is..

 

It's all about exp you gain. Getting alot of exp will get you alot of random events. How many random events and how long did you bot for?

 

Now 5 in the last 3 hours of botting. Only 3 hours. But I'm going up from 13 runecrafting, which is easy as hell and 3 hours in I'm already at 17. It was mining essence for about 2 of those 3 hours and I haven't gone up a mining level.

 

You only went up 13-17 rcing and got 5 random events? I'd stop because that's pretty sketchy and I'd legit for a few hours

 

Well I've only got one random rcing so far (in the like 40 minutes) but I got 4 while I was out for a couple hours mining essence.

 

I got 8 randoms in 5hours of botting FM in F2P on a level 3 ^^ i don't really care if it gets banned though.

Depends on a lot of factors I think. I used to get atleast a random event every hour when I was alching for 99 mage on one of my accounts.

I think it depends on how long you do a particular skill, what skill it is, stuff like that...And then there is the obvious factor that the more random events you fail/mess up at all in, the more random events you get (that was confirmed by Jagex when they supposedly lowered the frequency of random events).

I don't think it has anything to do with them thinking you are botting, it is probably because you are doing a highly botted skill. Bot on, my friend. Bot on.

Don't play legit, if fagex actually looks into it they will see your playstyle vastly differs from when you were rcing. Playing legit after a ton of randoms is a recipe for disaster. Fuck puns.

So just bot, bot, bot. Then maybe take a break for a week and come back and play legit if I want?

 

Possibly.

When that happens to me I take a break for two days then go back, solves the problem everytime.

 

I bot as much as I want and not one of my accounts have been banned, ever. I also play legit when ever I want but if I get constant randoms then I bot the rest of the day off. Play legit the next day if I feel like it or I keep botting, it all depends on how I feel about playing RS that day.

 

When gaining xp very fast you get randoms way more often. For example if i'm training summoning the xp you gain is so large in a short amount of time, that you get randoms fairly quickly. Same goes for dungeoneering.

 

If your gaining alot of xp rapidly, it's normal. If your doing nothing, then not normal

 

Like already said, it depends on the exp you gain.
Example:You play sorc garden for the drinks, when you exchange them for exp at Osman you get alot of exp at one time.
This means the chance of getting a random is quiet high.
It's mostly all about the exp.



She gained so many randoms because of the fast exp she gained.
And shes obvisiously not botting this, so you shouldn't worry to much.

Yeah its like with thieving whenever I was gaining 225k xp per hour, I decided to always test it out and see what would happen. Got a random every single time.

 

Thanks everyone. I never knew amount of randoms correlated with XP gained. Randoms are completely pointless, any bot can beat them now(in this case, the client!)... RSC's fatigue was actually pretty useful--for fagex--, but I'm not suggesting they use it of course. I guess gaining levels that fast in any way would probably have yielded many randoms.
