Has runescape recovery changed?

I tried recovering few accounts i bought 3 years ago.. 2010-2011, I havent been on since but I fill in a form and get a denied email STRAIGHT away?

Is it harder to recover accounts?

 

If you are not the original creator of the account it is much harder to recover these days. If the account has JAG protection it effects the recovery process in the current owners favor.

Chances are you won't get the accounts back.

 

Do you know if these were recovered by the seller or you forgot the password?

If you can provide a lot of information as well as if you are the original i.p it helps, do you still have contact with the person who sold it you, if so they could help recover it.

 

It is not as easy as before to recover an account now. You need to provide too much info. But if you are the original owner and you still have those info when you registered those accounts, then it will not be a problem. Good luck!

 

You are most likely failing to recover the accounts due to your IP. Creation IP is extremely important nowadays.

I totally forgot the passwords etc, I remember I had over 4accounts, over 3B seperated across these..

 

It has changed a lot, and mostly for the better. It's easier and quicker for me to recover accounts that actually belong to me, in my perspective.
