has runescape changed your life?

Yes it has. I remember when I used to spend a lot more time doing other things than sitting around at a computer >_>.. I also remember when my grades used to be extremely better and when I was in a lot more advanced courses before playing RuneScape. RuneScape ruined me X_X.

 

Well i actually learnead alot and met very nice people

 

Runescape introduced me to mmorpgs when I was younger. It definitely has changed my life.

 

I've became twice as smart since playing runescape. i use 2 tipe lyk thes. Now I have a better understanding in life; and it'll surely help me in my future. Even though I wish I didn't spend as much time on the computer as I do..

 

Sucked me dry. Also taught me a lot, led me here.

Runescape has screwed me over so bad. Fuck my RS addiction. In the end I've gained nothing from this shitpile of Java.

met friends on different continents
made more real life friends (because we met in the game and ended up going to school and such) and much much more,

it is a fun and great game but u got to take it with a grain of salt because it isn't the healthiest thing to waist a bs load of time on it,

 

It changed it in a negative way. Lost many friends because of it, grades were not as well and I became a slacker, there are better things I could of done with my life.

 

Yeah, my grades changed dramatically as soon as I was introduced to RS in 2001.

It has also resulted in an obvious change of career path, due to a new found laziness and general unwillingness to do anything that requires effort other than sit around playing RS.

Now I am in my last semester of gaining a degree that will give me a horrible career in Accounting, and I currently work a crap full time job as a Network Administrator for a company that extremely under pays.

If I hadn't started RS, I would have paid more attention in Math class and Science class, I would have done Chemistry in High School, and started a degree in Uni that would lead me to becoming a Chemist in a dark dirty ship in some low-key port where police won't notice I am making drugs.

In other words, if I hadn't started RS I would live a shifty but rich lifestyle.

 

or so u think, the fact of the matter with that is supply and demand with classes, personally i played rs and now i am in training to become a nuclear electronics tech. (for the navy but still)

it realllllllllllly affected me when i was in my younger grades.. say grade 9 and 10... i think i let it take over my life pretty much but a bunch of my friends were addicted also

now it doesnt at all.. couldnt care less if never play again or not :S

 

It has changed my life, but the only negative thing it's done to me is sometimes I procrastinate badly with RS. Still have all A's in school though, six pack, 4.8 GPA. So it's stayin.

 

RS ruined my vision.

 

and ur problem with that? i am getting a free college, and education for a job with a starting rate of $90k (for the first few months and then it goes into 6 digits after that if u get qualified) so keep laughing... i am happy with my choice... o also ... free enlistment bonus of $25k, and my re-enlistment can be up to $80k

What life? RuneScape took mine away.

I have faster and improved typing skills, communication and trade knowledge for stocks etc.

I have kept a bond with friends through this game too.

It has and is bringing many memories from my childhood and now.
