so im playing on a crappy laptop atm for a week while AMD sends me a new vid card,

i decided since the frames drop and i cant really pk id finish maxing out my rune turm pure, already finished barraging from 94-99 mage at Atol. bought like 10k chins got 92 range from 88. but ive noticed theyre dropping a lot. Money really isnt an issue, but id rather not do this (even though im extremely bored) if theyre gonna drop from like 875-500 in a week or something.

any insight would be nice.

 

I personally think they won't drop so drastically, probably to around 750-800 before they become stable again, and I think they will actually increase soon considering the new bot nuke that is happening shortly. So, I don't think you'd waste to much money buying them now instead of later, good luck leveling though.

 

i think after long enough and the bots start to be perfected they will be maybe a little higher than before the bot nuke... i dont think the bots will be as good as they were though. and btw this is probably a while off so if u need leveling i would say do it now because it might be a year until the bots are good enough to do chins 24/7

 

There won't be any huge difference. You may aswell buy them and train your account while you don't have a good computer. The most you'll save if you don't do it now but you do it later would be like 5m..

 

Yeah I'd said just buy now, because the new bot nuke is gonna inflate the price for a while and it'll make it harder to get cheap chinchompas.

 

Just wait patiently till they drop

crossing my fingers AMD does this in a timely fashion, second time ive had to send it in, first the fan fell off, faulty 800$ product. they say yeah well replace it, apparently i misunderstood and they just replaced the fan, but the videocard was already fried, so now theyll just be sending me a brand new one.

 

In terms for your system. What are your system specs?

Sometimes a good processor can do well for an online game. I don't know if Runescape would benefit more from the processor or card but it's something to look into if it's still slow after you implement AMD.

My Intel core i7 has cost $700, and it can take on any game I throw at it from Vindi to Skyrim. Though runescape has trouble when I have to load up screens.

 

nah man its not that, this is just a really old crappy laptop, i actually have an alienware m17x, but i let my girlfriend pretty much have it cause shes a pt student and uses it a ton so id feel bad being like babe can i have my laptop back to play games on haha. it has an i7 extreme and nvidias top of the line.

im actually talking about my desktop which also has an i7 extreme, im a graphic design/computer engineer major so im rockin about 10 grand between my 2 computers. This is my girlfriends old laptop and its like mega slow from like 2000, and my alienware is so lit up pink at this point idk if i even want it back haha.

 

Uhh, which i7 did you buy for $700 and why did you spend so much? And your ability to play "any game you throw at it" is probably due to your GPU, not the intel graphics 3000 or whatever that comes with the processor.

 

I think Runescape uses more processor/ram than graphics card ( sorry if i'm wrong )

 

you're correct, many even cheaper cards can run rs at maxed settings, how choppy it will be (fps) will be more of your processor and RAM.

 

Just train now chins will probably rise anyways after the 2nd bot nuke
