Has Entertainment Technology Hurt Us?

[Greg]

It has its ups and downs. You look on this site, and you see people who really have no hope in fitting in with society "I scam l0lz u r gay homo, I lyke watchin vids of dead people 1337". But in the same way you see people playing Runescape for example they merchant, calculate skills, and what not. Its virtual stuff, but they are doing what many business leaders in the real world are doing.

But could the amount of time put into learning those things through runescape be spent better elsewhere?

I think it has..perfect example is tv.
