Hey its Upwards, Ever since I found out about reading graphs and the potential it can make I've been very interested, joining many of merchanting forums. Unfortunately most of the guides that I've read are not specific at all so I would be very grateful if someone could help me learn how to merchant. No I don't mean flipping, I mean reading graphs and predicting the rise/fall of the daily line.
    Kind Regards,

What is it you are looking to invest in? If its stocks graph reading is somewhat helpful but you should use more than that to invest on a stock. If you are planning on using graph reading for runescape you have to remember runescape doesn't follow a logical curve on items because most items are too heavily influenced by updates and real world trade regulations which jagex implements. Graph reading will be nowhere as helpful on runescape as keeping up to date with future updates would be.

If you are looking to get into stocks I recommend talking to Viou apart from him I don't think I know anybody else on this forum who is a large stock investor. I personally tried stocks but didn't have enough knowledge to continue and make money but I plan on getting back into investing in a couple of months.

One thing I can tell you about graph reading is it is not a reliable method to measure a stocks performance because the graphs thrown at you do not show you what you are looking for in a stock. Most charts only show a stock price but you have to take the extra initiative to go beyond that and pull out some raw data from financial records and use them to see data which applies to the company.

You can't use previous stock prices to predict the future stock prices.
