So I’ve been playing CS2 for years just for fun, but only recently started looking into trading skins a bit. I’m honestly still super new to it and kinda confused by how everything works. Like, I get the basics (buy low/sell high), but there’s so much talk about float values, patterns, and stuff like that—it feels like a whole other game inside the game.

I tried messing around with a couple of marketplaces to see how it works, and it’s actually kinda fun, but also a bit intimidating. Not really sure what’s “worth it” or what’s just hype. For example, how do you guys decide if a skin is a good pickup or just overpriced trash? Do you just go with what you like or actually treat it like an investment?

Also, any tips for someone who’s just dipping their toes in? I’m not trying to go full-time trader or anything, just wanna understand it better and maybe grab some cool skins without overpaying.

Would love to hear how you guys started out or what you wish you knew when you first got into it.
