So I've gotten back into skateboarding recently after having taken a 3 year break, and I've lost nearly all ability to do the tricks I used to be able to do. I can still ollie, but that's about the only trick I can land completely. My kickflips still fail often, as do my fakies, heelflips, 50-50's, boardslides, and pretty much all other tricks that involve flips and grinds/slides. I learned to skate by riding with friends who actually knew how to skate (however, most have now either moved away or stopped skating). Anyone have any advice on how to pick it up again?

well the best is to practice and since you've had experience you already know how to do the tricks so just keep practicing

Keep practicing, get balance, and ask you friends. I'm a amateur staker.

Do what you used to. Practice all day, skate every where. It's like riding a bike, you never forget how to ride one but if you haven't honed your skills for a while you become rusty. You'll pick it up eventually.
