Has anyone been banned for autoswitching?

I wrote a little script that switches my gear when I press mouse button 4, selects spec when I press mouse button 5, and gets ice barrage ready to cast when I middle click. Currently all of these instantly send the keypresses to make sure the right window is open, moves the mouse in, clicks the appropriate spot, and instantly moves the mouse back to where it started. This occurs so quickly that you don't even see it happen.

I was wondering if I should bother simulating realistic (slower) mouse movement and key presses or just continue instantly clicking the spots and moving it back. Has anybody ever been banned for autoswitching like this?

 

I'm not sure, it's possible you could get banned but not likely as no one will be able to tell that you are doing this.

 

I think it would be pretty easy to detect someone issuing like 5 commands instantly. I'm wondering if Runescape actually does attempt to detect this because it's more annoying in every way to add in some delays.

I've never heard of anybody being banned for it, but I thought I should check here before I start using it a great deal on my favorite pure in its current state. Does anybody know of anyone who has ever been banned for something like this?

 

in my opinion you could possibly be banned as it would count as macroing.

 

Jagex can't really detect bots, or maybe they don't look into it unless someone reports them. IF you did get banned for it i'm sure an appeal wouldn't be turned down.
