A poem I wrote to express myself.

What once was my everything is now a hole
Empty as the night
The pain persists while i try to put the pieces back together
They say time heals all, as if i'm a child who's lost his balloon
But time has seemed to stop these days
Why give something to whom who has never had anything, and then take it away?
Why tease the fragile heart of a humble man?
They say god, I say "where"?
They say be patient, I say.......
....


Where was god when daddy died and I was only three
Where was god when mama passed and my family abandoned me
Was god there when I found someone, to fill the empty dark?
Was he there when it was taken, and it all fell apart?
The only thing I can truly say, about your deity.
Is that, if he does exist, he surely forgot about me.

Very nicely written and makes complete sense and it's a sad story that makes me very interested in reading continuously. Also, I'm sorry about your losses.
