    Just flashed my BIOS. JESUS FUCK THAT WAS NERVOUS

    I just flashed my BIOS since I couldn't connect my iPhone 4 to the computer. Found out that a BIOS flash solved it. So I went for it. And succeded THANK GOD! My heart was beating 1000x/sec and I was sweating. And when it was done I rebooted got a POST error and the comp died! But I booted it up again and came into windows. WOW!

    Time for a cigarette to calm my nerves. SHIT!

    Just wanted to share this with you.

    To start a discussion:
    Have you ever crashed a motherboard by flashing BIOS

    Och and by the way, now my iPhone 4 shows up in iTunes :D

    My motherboard has a backup BIOS, I believe it's called. It has two BIOS, so if you corrupt your main BIOS, you can use your other BIOS, and then reflash the corrupted.

    It has nothing to do with being american. BIOS is an acronym that stands for basic input-output system.

    No, but I once dropped a screw into my laptop while replacing the keyboard that almost fried the motherboard (I was doing this while it was on, lol).

    I got Crashfree BIOS just like most other Asus Motherboards so nothing to worry about.
