What type of job should I get?

I'm currently a student, and I'm back in Canada now, just came back from Hong Kong a little while ago. Does anyone know any jobs I can apply for? Or let me know any experiences that you people had from jobs I can go and look for? I don't like Fast Food Restaurants or stuff like that. I've heard a lot of people tell me "Work at a Super Market or a Grocery place", I'm considering that. However, I'm looking for more opinions on this, as I'm looking for funds to save up and do stuff with. Thanks in advance if you help me out.

Work at a fresh market. They're smaller and easier to work in.

 

What is a Fresh Market? Is it a place where they sell Alcohol? I looked up a YouTube video of Fresh Market, and it showed a place that sold Alcohol? Not sure, can you explain a little bit of what it is. Thanks.

Fresh market is a store mainly sells veggies fruits, fish and well, mostly all foods.
And yea it can sell beer too.

Footlocker; you make more cash from buying/re-selling then actually working.

 

When I come back from university for summers I work at a grocery store as a grocery clerk. It's actually not bad at all.. it's a very casual job. It's actually the department where you deal with people the least, and stocking shelves passes time fast. At the grocery store I work in, produce works in the back where the grocery stock is kept, so whenever I want i'll go see my produce friends and get some free cut fruit or whatever aha. If you work grocery you also deal with reclamation (damaged grocery stock), so if you see something opened that you want to eat just don't get caught aha. Not that it happens often, but sometimes you get called on for carry outs and get tipped. Btw i'm also in Canada.

 

Do a job stocking shelfs or somthing, its simple and easy and money is money ya know

 

This is what I recommended to him. A friend of mine who is only 16 makes £6.20 (~$10 USD) per hour for shelf stacking in a supermarket. He hardly has to do anything and the pay is pretty good for a 16 year old.

 

What do you mean by buying? I already have too many shoes, haha. Also, you mean if I work at Footlocker, I can get commission?
