Hey Sythe community!

Ok, so I've been playing WoW for the past few years, and I use the term "playing" very loosely. I don't really play much. My highest level toon is only level 70. I played at first, because I wanted to check it out, then I found out my dad also played. He pays for my game time too btw. Ok so anyway I started playing on his realm a few years back and don't have any friends there. I only play with my dad, in his guild, with him and his friends. I don't even talk to his friends, and I find that whenever I log in game and my dad isn't on, I just get off.

It's VERY boring having no one to play with except your dad even though he's a beast at the game. I want to start over on a new server or something and meet some people and play the game with people, join a guild and have fun. Are there any communities out there to meet cool people to play with and are noob friendly? I consider myself a noob, because I don't even really know much about the game. My dad basically runs me through everything. But yeah, I really wanna get back into the game.

Anyone have ideas?

Edit: I've talked to these 2 kids in one of my classes at my campus who play WoW. Turns out one of them is a professional WoW player. He's the number 1 warrior in his realm, he's 55 in the world, and his guild is ranked like number 3 in the US. He probably wouldn't play with me lmao. And the other kid is already a high level and in a guild, also probably wouldn't be good for starting over.

 

Depends what kind of player you are, you've described yourself as a noob, to which I'll refer as a 'casual player'.

Casual guilds exist on most realms, y'know, they're the ones normally spamming Trade chat in High populated cities such as Stormwind or Ogrimmar, you could also use the guild search option when you're guildless.
