Half-Life 2 Series

Half-Life 2 is probably the first FPS game with a storyline that I have ever bought and still play to this day.
I remember literally pissing my pants and getting in trouble with my mom during the 6th grade when I first played Ravenholm.
At first, I was like


But now, I'm like


I can't wait for Episode 3, I've been waiting for over 4 years now!
What could be taking Valve so long? They promised a new episode every few months. Furthermore, if a new Half-Life game was released every 6 years (HL1 1998, HL2 2004) and Ep3 was supposed to the the Half-Life 3, it should have been released last year.

I just can't wait to see what Valve has in store for us.

I can't wait either, Valve do like to annoy us by hiding HL3 Easter Eggs in Portal 2 and other games for example. I really hope it gets announced soon I don't think I can wait any longer.

I loved HL2 within the first few minutes of playing. I'm sure whether it's called HL2: Episode 3 or HL3 that it will be a great game anyway. I've yet to come across a game made by Valve that's not up to standards.

 

Nothing competes with Half-Life 2 when it comes to master-paced storytelling and diverse environments.

Have you seen the reviews for Half-life 2 on Metacritic? It's probably one of their highest rated games. Sure, I'm jonesing for some Half-life 3, but I want valve to take their time and get it right.
