I have what I thought was woke up to really weird shit myself at times.

Maybe it's just my imagination, but I have seen things like a gargoyle sort of like face coming from my ceiling towards me and as much as I try to scream/shout it isn't being heard and I cannot move either.

Weird shit.

 

Goddam. Have you seen the gargoyle image before or did your brain like create it :0

 

Never before, when I was younger I thought I saw a ghost or two, and when I was really young (like 4-5 years old) i used to think car lights looked at me like eyes watching me everywhere I go.

I guess sometimes your brain is functioning over the way it should.

 

Happened to me too. Scary as shit since you can't do anything.

 

I have this on a regular basis, especially when I'm extremely tired, laying on my back, when I wake up and take some time to fall asleep again or when my sleeping schedule is fucked. Never see any creatures, just paralysis and I'm always in a position where I have difficulty breathing (faced down on my pillow etc.). Always a huge relief when I wake up. My girlfriend recognizes when I have it because my body starts twitching and wakes me up if she notices.

Learned to not panic too much when I have it though, what helps me wake up faster is trying really hard to get some movement going most of the time in my fingers. Sometimes its a few minutes (or atleast feels like it), sometimes I wake up in seconds.

Never gotten used to it, I'm always fully aware that I'm going to wake up but when it takes a while I start questioning if there's something wrong with me and if there is I could be laying there for hours without anyone noticing.


Edit: the first time I had it was 6-7 years ago, I remember because it was during the morning and I had my window open and curtains closed. The wind blew against my curtains causing it to create some shape/pattern on the wall. I could see the shape during my sleep paralysis eventhough I'd never seen it before, when I woke up it was still there. Freaked me out.

 

I've never experienced anything crazy sleep wise except for nightmares LOL.

 

Are you able to experience good things during sleep paralysis. seems ofd why only scary sht happens

 

It happened to me, very similar to the age of 14 that was when he gave me my first sleep paralysis (and the last one) it seemed as if a shadow or something like that approached me very abruptly and shouted in my ear, It is very scary because you can not do anything, although beyond all fear I have always wanted to experience sleep paralysis again, I think there's something more behidn it.

 

happened to me as well, drug induced... so i think it lasted a bit longer than a typical natural sleep para.

eyes wide open but blurry for about 6-7 seconds, sheer terror, was about to literally piss myself
