    I need urgent help

    someone keeps trying to recover my account, he's tried twice today, and failed. lucky i have a pin, hes gotten on my account but not into my bank, and i have recovered before more damage could be done. i have email, recovs, even his ip. what precautions should i take? i might be keylogged so how do i find out.

    I need urgent help

    If your being keylogged change your password using a on-screen keyboard. Assuming that the keylogger can only detect key strokes. Thats the only small advice I can give you hopefully someone else will come along.

    Did you buy the account? If so, original owner may be trying to recover.

    yes i bought it, but i'm friends with the seller and am 90% sure he won't recover it. i'm pretty sure it's a keylogger and i haven't ever downloaded anything from the seller.

    I have tried that thread, They locked my account and now ive had three failed attempts at trying to unlock it.

    OT: Just scan your computer and just make sure you clear anything if up something does show, If you have no keylogger well then your so called friend is most likely behind this.

    Just keep trying to unlock it. You can unlock it if you're the original owner/know enough details. IF you're the original owner put in the "Other details"-field something among these lines: "I actually am the real owner and I would higly apreciate if you could check the ip from where the account is created and from where I am supplying this info, thanks [ACCOUNT NAME]."
    This seems to work most of the times for me when my account gets locked. Don't know if it actually works but trying doesn't harm anyone, does it?

    There is currently a thread on the Runescape forums for this type of request. Another option you have is to keep it locked until you're certain that the other person has stopped trying or forgotten about it.
