H1Z1/PUBG/SURVIVAL Market Place

My biggest concern is it being a dead section. We need to appeal to a wide base of users, but also need to get them here in the first place and I'm not sure the section will do that on it's own

I agree with you. It won't work with just a section alone cus getting new people is not a simple task and may take weeks to get rolling as no section would blow up instantly imo. We need people to advertise it via other platforms and I had a little talk with some PR members and expressed I would do my best to do exactly that; advertise it via steam groups/reddit etc. It can't be a one man job though and we'd need help from other survival fanatics on Sythe.

In the long run, I do think with the help of members and the constant supply and demand of the h1 market, it would do well and members could benefit from it by starting their business in that area

edit: other members have expressed that an entire survival section is another possibility. This expands our network with not just h1 players, so that may help.

 

Again, I'm in support of this still. There should be some tweaks though.
I think instead of only including H1Z1 KOTK and JS, we should include similar games in the same marketplace(PUBG, H1Z1, DayZ, Rust, more if applicable). This way, if one game dies out, the entire section doesn't.

i'm willing to (after my move to NC next week and get settled) start full time streaming, with sythe advertisements all over the stream for the skin section, i'm also willing to start and manage a possible team to play comp. 5's and maybe have a clan leader to get people joining and possibly some incentive to be able to make it on the 5s team, or even have multiple teams.

I have full faith in this game, and it's direction in eSports as long as daybreak starts listening to the community and making the needed changes to help the scene.

 

Just look at the new Dota 2 section / market. This site isn't bringing in any new members for these games. I'm not sure if it's a lack of advertisement, or the fact that sections take so long to be made, but there isn't any reason to think that this would be any different than any of any of the new game sections over the past few years. Unfortunately, even the WoW section was consolidated and the discussion got lumped into the "Other games" section despite being the largest MMO out since its release.

I wish it was better, and the site catered to more audiences, but all of the moves made in the past few months/years show that this forum is going to be centered around RS.

 

I would support a section based including the most popular survival games and not just h1z1 but I do look forward to using the h1z1 part for trading and organising fives

PUBG put H1Z1 in the dumpster.

H1Z1 was trendy for a few months, now PUBG is trendy for a couple months. The game doesn't deserve a section now that it's glory day is over.

 

I would love this, as i play H1Z1 myself.

 

1000% support, I love playing H1 and would like to start selling/using a market on sythe for it.

 

But what would be entailed on it?
Rank boosting and skin trading?

I feel it's such a niche market now, and the popularity has died off that these sections would be dead except for people bumping their own thread.

 

I would most likely use this, I enjoy H1Z1 and wouldn't mind offering services for it as well, not to mention, it's a growing game. Support 100%.

 

The games dying with PUBG booming, and i cant see this section living ngl.

 

The reason why h1z1 is dying and pubg is booming is because everyone who played h1z1 started playing pubg, and I personally think that Pubg blew up way more than h1z1.
Also keep in mind that PUBG is a very big hit with it being in Early access mode. I’m sure it’s going to be way bigger when it’s fully done and released.
