    I think I'm going to start posting Dev Blogs and post a summary of that specific Dev Blog and post my thoughts. I'm posting a poll seeing if this is something you guys would like and if you'd contribute to it as well.

    Dev Blog: Poll #26 REVISITED

    The OSRS Developer Team is at work yet again with some new changes to the game.
    -The Ahrim's set effect now offers a 1/4 chance of a hit dealing 30% increased damage.
    -The Torag's set effect no longer increases attack speed and, instead, boosts defence based on how much health has been lost.
    -The Ahrim's set effect now also includes the ability to autocast Ancient Magicks when the Amulet of the Damned is equipped
    -The Verac's set effect has been changed to provide additional prayer bonus instead of bonus prayer points. This will prevent players using the set to AFK train with protection prayers enabled.
    -The F2P item releases have been removed (teleblock being released to F2P will remain on the poll)
    -An additional question, "Should the sinister chest give herbs in noted form?", has been added to "Other Questions"

    These changes above aren't too different from before but are much more interesting with the new effects for barrows sets.

    Amulet of the Damned

    Seems that Jagex is pushing very hard to get a new amulet into the game. This amulet is something that benefits the barrows sets with different abilities pertaining to each set. This amulet would be achieved through the Shades of Mort'ton minigame which literally no one plays. However, with such a nice amulet coming from a minigame, you'll see a lot more people there if this poll passes.

    Here are the specific abilities for each set when wearing the amulet:

    Dharok: Have 1/4 chance that 15% of damage taken reflects on to the opponent.

    Karil: 1/4 chance of dealing 2 damage splats. The 2nd damage splat would be half the damage of the first.

    Ahirm: Staff can autocast Ancient Spells. 1/4 chance of dealing a hit with 30% increased damage.

    Guthan: Same healing effect except can raise 10 above your base hitpoint level.

    Torag: Every hitpoint lost you gain increased defense.

    Verac: Gain +7 prayer bonus.

    To get these you have to be wearing the full sets respective to each set. The amulet would degrade the same rate as the sets. The amulet would turn to dust when worn out or dropped on death. It'd be tradable for the pristine version. They're also saying that you can't repair the amulet, but you can use other degraded amulets on each other to 'decant' into a more full amulet. Kind of like adding (2) potions into another (2) potion.

    Dark Core Pet

    With the new release of Corporeal Beast, everyone is wanting a pet for the monster. This will be voted upon by the community.

    The pet will be set as a mega-rare drop which might be impossible to get.

    Clan Wars Classic Arena

    Before Mod Alfred left Jagex, he was spending time on re-creating the Clan Wars arena from back in the day. Some might remember it as the original map from RS3.

    Other Questions


    There will also be some other questions posted on the poll:

    Question: Should players on F2P worlds be able to use the Teleblock spell?
    Question: Should the sinister chest give herbs in noted form?
    Question: Mod Alfred, before he left us, made an anim for a 'tip fedora' emote. Shall we release it?
    Question: Should it be possible to split all potions from 4-dose to 2 x 2-dose, and from 2-dose to 2 x 1-dose, and from 3-dose to 2-dose + 1-dose?
    Question: Should we add some gargoyles to Nieve's cave?
    Question: If gargoyles are added to Nieve's cave, should it be permitted to use cannons near them?
    Question: Should the Humidify spell work on saplings in your inventory?
    Question: Should players be unable to use the Ancient teleport tablets within 15 minutes of having logged out of a F2P world? They have been used by F2P clan members in order to return to clan wars incredibly quickly, creating a large imbalance in F2P warring. This restriction would not limit players in day-to-day use of the teleports but would solve this problem for F2P clan wars.
    Question: Should we add a bag that holds the materials for repairing the Flamtaer Temple at Mort'ton? This would allow players to carry 60 timber beams, 60 limestone bricks and 500 swamp paste within one inventory slot. The bag would be found in the chests behind steel, black and silver doors below Mort'ton; players could have only one bag at a time.



    I think all of this is a good step in the right direction for OSRS. New content is never a bad thing unless it alters the game tremendously.

    I personally like the amulet because it will increase value on other barrows sets and make barrows runs more profitable :) It also has nice abilities which is something that can be nice in PKing or PvMing.

    To get that Dark Core Pet would be something crazy because I imagine that the drop rate would be like 1/10,000 or something. Wouldn't doubt if it's higher than that.

    It'd definitely increase barrows prices which would be awesome.
