Guilty concious after lure..

Mabye it's just me but me and my mate just lured this kid for dragon chain + few other items and for some reason I feel really guilty. He was chatting away the whole time about random stuff and just general banter and in a couple of minutes basically his entire wealth is gone..

Does anyone else feel guilty luring or is it just me?

The way i see it anyone who would fall for that crap didn't really earn that money. They either stole their parents credit card and/or botted it.

Which is fine, I bot all the time, nothing morally against it.

but they shouldn't be surprised/upset when they get their stuff stolen so easily when they didn't actually earn it

Your definately not alone dude. Sometimes I feel like a piece of shit. Thats why I dont lure often unless necessary.

 

I think thats the wrong assumption. The people who do get lures don't know better. They're used to a friendly community on the game and are unaware of 'too good to be true' situations and people just take advantage of it. It's quiet the rude way to make money by taking advantage of others if you ask me.

Also, it's one thing to take someones item, its another to take their wealth.

I know how you feel tbh. I did it once and never again after. I don't see it as being wrong necessarily because it's a part of the game. Of course, I personally wouldn't want to do it.

 

Lol what a terrible assumption.. did you ever think that maybe it's just a 13 year old (Which most people who play RuneScape are) that maybe just mined or fished for days for his cash?

I know it's hard to think that people actually play legit still.. but they do.
