Makes me sad

to see something like this idealized

 

I think its kind of cute..

 

I feel sad for the kid but for other reasons. Lets just hope the bald gene really does skip a generation.

 

More sad thing about this is, it's basically reality.

 

yeah, I mean I just keep seeing stuff like this on TV more and more. Not just the integration of technology into the most minute aspects of our lives, but it's almost like the degradation of family togetherness is encouraged. This is just one example, watch an hour of prime time TV and you'll see plenty more.

I can't help but think of Fahrenheit 451, where the girl describes a time when families used to actually sit together and talk about life, discuss things, laugh, etc. However, now their society is preoccupied with superficial ideals and essentially hypnotized by media

But yeah, this is our future... As lame and anti-social as it is...
