Guide on getting good at Guitar hero 3

Well this is my guide on becoming a great Guitar hero 3 player.

I am not going to brag but i have become a very good player seeing

as i have 5 starred every song in the game on expert...

(Yes including all the DLC and bonus songs) (And yes including

through the fire and flames).

This guide will hopefully help you to get to that expert level without

playing for days and days.

You will need a few things (obviously) to play guitar hero 3.
~Requirements~
1. Xbox 360.

3. A guitar hero controller (les paul or xplorer guitar).

Ok so now that we know the requirements.... On with the guide.

Please note that this guide is mainly for people that can play on

hard or medium not aimed for players that havent even heard of GH3.

Also be aware that the main thing you can do to get better is practice.

The reason i am making this guide is to have you get better faster than by

practicing.

Ok first thing you need to do which helped me a lot is find a hard song

that you cant beat or can barely pass.

Try the song a couple times and find the place where you fail on

(on average).

The next thing you need to do is go into practice mode

and work on that part.

Once you feel pretty comfortable with the part

you just practiced go back into career and give the song another shot.

Just incase save all your starpower for that part.

If you pass the song Congrats. Now you need to do another thing. Play that song over and

over until you can at least 4 star it. You will find that the part you kept

failing on wont be that hard. This next part is optional.......

Work on 5 starring the song as much as you can and even try to 100% it.

Only do that if you feel very comfortable with the song and you know you

can do it over time.

Next thing to do to get better seems like it wont help you at all but trust me... It will help you a lot.. It actually helped me PASS raining blood on
expert...(now i can 5 star it though =p.).

What you do is... Every time your brought to a "Loading" screen

Or when the song starts playing before all the notes come is to hit all

the buttons that you cant play very well (Such as blue and orange).

Imagine yourself playing a song with a lot of orange notes and hit them over

and over. Once again it seems like it wont help you at all but trust me...It

will. Just give it some time and you'll soon start to feel comfortable hitting

that tricky orange.

One last thing that will help you is motivation. This helps a lot.

If you have xbox live go online and play against a player that you know

will beat you. It might not feel like it but your brain will be motivated

to want to play that player again and beat him. This feeling you get

helps you a lot.

(Please note that you will not turn into an expert player overnight. It

takes some time but you will be able to do it i promise you. When i first

started i never imagined that i would be able to even play on expert

and now i am good at playing on expert.. You gotta keep faith =].)
