Guide to making Sodium Acetate​

Ok, hello again and welcome to my newest guide: How to make sodium acetate? Sodium acetate is a chemical which you can have some fun with. Sodium acetate is A.K.A "Hot Ice".

The making of sodium acetate:

For this experiment we will need:
1. 84grams of soda;
2. 750grams of 8% vinegar.

We pour the 750grams of 8% vinegar to a pot and boil it, after it reaches the boiling temperature (100 C), we pour the 84grams of soda to the vinegar and mix it untill it melts. From doing this, you will get 82grams of sodium acetate. NOTE: You can make more of it, but you will have to add more vinegar and soda.

The making of "hot ice":
After the boiling process, we have to cool the 82grams of sodium acetate. Pour the sodium acetate to a bottle or a conteiner of some sort and put it in the fridge (simple as that).
After it cools, take it out, carefully pour it to a glass and touch the "water" with your finger (you have to do it very fast, there must be a little hit to the water), then enjoy the magic, the "water" will freeze instantly in your eyes This is quite fun to do and its entertaining +you can win some $$$ by betting with your friends, say that you can freeze the water with a touch with your finger
