Here are the straight facts:


Vial of Water: 93
Toadflax: 2121
Total cost: 2214

Toadflax(unf) sell for 2494, for a profit of 280 coins.

Let's (incorrectly) assume that you can get all the water vials and clean toadflax, and sell the unfinished toadflax potoins, all at market. To make 131 million in a week, you'd have to convert and sell 467,858 of these in that week, or 2801 per hour, or 200 inventories of it per hour, or one full inventory every 20 seconds, working 24 hours a day for the full seven days.

For one, you aren't going to find 467,858 Toadflax in a week's time. For another, nobody can work 24/7 (a bot will get banned for trying). For a third, you aren't going to pull out 14 Toadflax and Water Vials from the bank, make unfinished potions, and put them back into the bank (one cycle) in 20 seconds. You MIGHT be able to do it in 40 seconds, but I doubt that can be sustained. The fourth problem is that there isn't a huge market for this: Toadflax is used in Agility, Extra-Strong Antipoison, and Saradomin Brew potions, and it would be hard to find buyers for 467k+ of these per week.

If you work 10 hours a day for seven days, you might make 3 million doing this for that 70 hours, assuming you sell even that many, but you can make a lot more as a member doing many other things.

I bought 14 toadflax and made 14 unfinished potions, guess what happened... none sold. I'm glad I didn't buy more!! This earns a 0.5/10 from me.

 

All the (future)haters (that will be)complaining, just because he said it doesn't mean its true. I'm tired of people saying bad things about guides when you could have run through the math like tom jr did. Be smarter, don't be stupid. Stop flaming him for trying to help out, even if it wasn't that good. In my mind I see this guide is good, it tries to make money in a skill that many now consider to be a skill that losses money. So flamers, shut the hell up.

tom jr I think is the only one here that had enough knowledge to look it up before saying anything, and not just flaming the original poster. But if anyone wants to keep on flaming the original poster, why don't you make a better guide? The original poster had enough generosity in him to actually share a method that makes money. The toad-flax potions DO NOT sell at al, even for LOWEST on the Grand Exchange.

The only way this method works is if you are obtaining them as JUNK to sell.
