For this, you need to try interval training, Walking-running etc.. Also, it could be from you not being used to running that much anymore, you're probably slacking, try doing 4km Monday,5km Tuesday, and build on to it EVERYDAY until you get back to normal, (8-10km). From then on just stay persistent, and you're body will get used to it. Also try stretching before you run, as said in my guide.

    Hope I helped.

    Thanks

    Thanks :p

Forgot to say this but running on your toes is actually incorrect for long distance, unless you're sprinting.. you should run on the balls of your feet and roll them forward with each stride as you step onward. Might want to edit that in there pigbow.

Overall a very decent guide. Good usage of pictures, it's a good thing that you stress the importance of breathing but the picture is somewhat messy*. I'm not a fond of the overusage of colors, I suggest you only give your titles and subtitles a fancy color (and I recommend you bolt them as well) and leave the rest white.

*Here, I had some spare time and I made one for you :).

    Made me LOL. :)

It's important to be fully hydrated when excercising, i always go for a pee before going for a jog however, reduces the chance of a stitch.

Nice guide, I usually do 1 km for a warming up, takes me like 10mins. then I increase speed to like 13km/hr :)
anyways, I've probably overtrained myself. My hip hurts when I run more then 15mins now :/ dyou know any way to get over this?

Get more rest :p, you probably should start decreasing your training till you get better, is it a side stitch?

Having an iPod does indeed help, having the music loud enough so you can't hear my breathing makes me feel like I'm not working as hard, so I can exercise longer.

    Guide to jogging tireless.

    My two cents:

I went through this for the first 3-4 months of jogging. Now that's over with, I run 8-10km at least 3 times a week, will start training more intensely for a half marathon soon. I cannot emphasize how important it is to keep going. I am absolutely GLAD you mentioned this!

You might also want to add the following (which is pretty obvious by itself); when you get to the point where you can run without tiring, do NOT pause until you're done with your session. If you do stop to break, it will be harder to get back to your original pace then if you hadn't stopped at all (if you REALLY can't manage, slow your pace for a few mins).

Edit: Another thing I'd like to add: Eat up an hour or two before you go, and drink a shake/yogurt when you're done. You will decrease your recuperation time considerably by doing so, and you will have more energy and stamina in the long run.
