    Has anyone used it?

I just downloaded it, and its different..but its just like vista (the looks ofit)

I like some of the settings, like the taskbar.

What is so different about it and vista?

It runs better than Vista. They don't crash like Vista. I used them for quite a while and they are awesome, the best background style is that you can make the background slide (add pictures) to the sides and then you can just work on the desktop :)

The main problem is that it crashed because I used MSN Live and a older version of skype. Those two programs are not yet set for Windows 7. Because of that, I lost all of my information on my pc. Around 400Gb of info, yeah. But other than that they are quite awesome OS.

I've been using it since the first beta got released. I'm liking it so far, the only problem is I have x64 so I have some compatibility issues.

Great OS, but it's going to look like that overall XP will still be better

Gameshield and all those anti-hack things don't work on Windows 7, because it doesn't allow toolkits yet.

Ill use it once its offical. I'm dual booting it atm, but I see no reasons to. Might delete windows 7. I'm on Vista SP1.

It's a pretty damn cool OS, I liked it and whatnot. Couldn't play a few games though, AND I didn't save it to a different partition on my drive, therefore all of my files were fucked over. Hopefully you put it on a different partition so you could boot to Vista or Seven. Lol.

If i were you i would download Windows XP Pro Performance edition. It's only like 560MB on HDD. Really good and i'm getting 270FPS in counter strike source with 1.6GHz duo processor.

He said Counter Strike: Source and its 4 years old.
And 270 FPS is really good i don't even get that with a Q6600 with 8GB RAM and a ATI HD4850...i hardly get 170 FPS Average.

After my vista keeps on screwing up on me, i finally formatted my hard drive and am running solely on windows 7 beta. It hasn't crapped out on me yet, so i shall keep it till it does.

Till then, im going to find a copy of xp that is reliable.

270fps is the same as 100fps. If it the number goes above 100 it just doesn't matter.
