Guide to Cut Down on Bad Food

Hey, this guide is to help people cut down on eating food that is bad for them. i.e. Chips, soda, ice cream, chocolate.. My goal is to help people lose weight, and keep it off.

First of all, you need to try and do other things to keep your mind off of eating. The computer is NOT a good way to do this! While sitting on the computer, it actually makes you want to eat more.

Some good ways to do this might be to..
    • Go outside
    • Play with a pet
    • Call a friend to hang out
    • Exercise

Second, you need to eat something in place of the bad food. Something that is healthy that you will start eating by habit instead of the garbage.

    I'd suggest..
    • Vegetables (Steamed, sautéed, raw, boiled, etc.)
    • Water
    • Bread (Without butter)
    • Things low in calories/fat/sodium

Last, you need to get off the computer. Whilst you sit on your butt on the computer, you think you are hungry. However, it's not true. Some people think they are still hungry, when they really aren't. The computer makes this urge to eat 10x as strong. (This is because while you sit on the computer you mindlessly eat, and never fill your appetite.)

To do this I would suggest..
    • Get a new hobby
    • Join a sport
    • Go outside
    • Get a membership to a gym

I hope this helps.. If you have any questions/suggestions, feel free to ask/tell. ;)

And remember, you don't want to look like this..

Thanks for the compliment. It's easy to figure out, but if you look at the number of overweight people.. Sometimes a reminder, and a little help goes a long way. ;)

Try fixing the layout a bit more. Like center the title, put different sizes. Also, try to make the pictures a little bigger.

It's not how to do it that people need help with.

it's putting it into practice and having the dedication to see it through.

It's a nice guide, but it is important to explain why.

Why does the computer multiply the urge to eat by 10? etc.

Guide to Cut Down on Bad Food

If you can't or refuse to drink plain water, buy zero calorie sweetener and make iced tea or just buy some flavored diet iced tea (zero calories as well).

Some people say zero calorie sweeteners or diet drinks are bad for you..they are, the chemicals contained in them aren't fit for human consumption, but being obese is worse.

Zero calorie sweeteners like Splenda are being tested right now, because they are believed to be related to weight gain instead of weight loss. I wouldn't recommend Splenda, or any other zero calorie sweeteners.

Stick with water, green teas, iced teas, etc.

What about good food that you can make quickly? I know I'd rather have a microwaved borito in 2 minutes than stand infront of the stove for a half hour making something healthy.
