Guide to 99 mining!

Hello and welcome to the 99 mining guide for Runescape! This guide will show you how to get 99 mining in Runescape and it includes maps, what to mine, profits and more!

Getting started
Levels 1-15
This is the easy part. You want to get a bronze or an iron pickaxe and go to any of the locations below that contain tin ore and/or copper ore. You should mine tin and/or copper ores from levels 1-15 mining. Bank the ores for a profit of 5k-20k. Be warned that the Faladors' Mine, Al Kharids' Mine and West Varrock Mine contain deadly creatures that could kill you if you are a low level or just not paying attention.

Moving On
Levels 15-45
Now you should be able to mine iron ore. Grab a steel, mithril and adamant pickaxe and switch to the best pickaxe you can use as you proceed. I highly recommend mining at one of the Varrock Mines if you want to bank the ores quickly, otherwise you can mine at Faladors' Mine or Al Kharids' Mine. You should be able to make about 100k-500k profit from here if you bank the ores.

Proceeding to the boredom
Levels 45-60
Here you want to mine coal ores in the Faladors' Mine or Al Kharids' Mine. You should be using a rune pickaxe now. I recommend you bank your ores from a hefty 300k-1M profit.

Watch the cash start flowing in
Levels 60-77(Members) 60-99 (Non-Members)
This is where the big cash starts to flow in. For members, you should only mine here until 77 mining. Non-members should mine here until 99. When you hit 70 I recommend you take detours while doing this over to the adamant ores outside of the mining guild every time they respawn for some extra cash. Non members should make approximately 15M-30M from this. Members will make about 3M-8M.

Getting ready for the long run
Levels 77-80(Members)
Now you can mine concentrated coal ore in the living rock caverns. The living rock caverns is located in Faladors' Mine near the general store. These ores are special because they are like yew trees; they don't break after one log is received. These ores can last anywhere from a few hours to a few seconds until you have to change ores. But these ores are guarded by high level creatures that can do a lot of damage. It is recommended you mine in worlds 77, 84, 88 or 82 because these are the worlds that have a lot of people mining in them and result in a less chance of you dying. There is a deposit crate in here for you to bank your ores. You cannot access you bank through this. You should be able to make a profit of about 1M-2M here.

The long run
Levels 80-99
Now you can mine concentrated gold ore. Again they are like concentrated coal ores; same concept, same worlds, same place. I highly recommend you to use a dragon pickaxe now (costs approximately 10M) but don't worry, you can sell it when you're done if you like for your money back. This is probably the easiest part of 1-99 mining in my opinion because you can listen to music, talk to friends, play a video game or anything else while mining the gold ores since you don't have to keep switching ores. You can get around 60K XP/Hr here. Here you should make a profit of about 15M-35M.

Final Profit: 20M-45M

Congratulations! You're now 99 Mining! You can obtain your skill cape and hood from a dwarf wearing the cape, south of East Falador Bank for 99k.
