Guide selling no refund

First of all this isn't actually a report i just need your help to define whether what he did is allowed.
So this guy sold me a smuggling guide on a private server, i was going to ask him to smuggle something for me but he insisted on buying a guide rather so i payed with a 2speced account, so i did the glitch and it didnt work, i was patient and waited for him, he said he had a new one that might work, i spent 2 hours waiting for it or to recover my account meanwhile i asked and some guy told me a method to smuggle items just by asking i tried it but it didnt work, he told me that he would give me back the account after i payed him 80M gp for the method ( on the ps), i told him no, he gave acc back, i gave 80M he gave method. So it was the same method the guy told me. So i then just figured i did something wrong, anyways he told me that you cant log out once you do the glitch or else they become unwearable. The glitch worked despite that little detail, I tried staking but it didnt work i couldnt stake, i asked him and he told me no you can't stake.
Here is where the problem comes, I was really upset i couldnt do anything, so i asked him for a refund and he said no because i already knew the method and i told him that it doesn't do what i wanted really, then he said that it smuggles dung items and when i asked him why didn't he tell me those little details he said because you didn't ask. In fact he is literally and technically right, i never did, and he knew that if he told me i wouldn't have or would be less likely to buy it. However I am making this report because not only did he was very fishy about not telling but he also told that you could stake with it on his thread.

i can post images of a conv on a private server with a username he verified via pm if he denies it, I just want 80M back.
