[Guide] Shaco, The Demon Jester.

This is a guide on how to build Shaco and how to use him.
- If you follow this guide right, you will learn how to use Shaco in the best way possible, this guide doesn't consist in putting Toys/Dolls around the map, as i don't think thats the proper way to use Shaco. I have had great and i really mean great experience playing Shaco with this build/tips that ill provide you with below.

• Items:
1. Boots of Speed x2 health potions


2. Zeal


3. Berserker Greaves


4. Wriggle's Lantern


5. Phantom Dancer


6. If you're dominating, get Trinity's force at this point,
or Frozen Mallet if the other team is building tanky or you're easily getting killed.
- If you're doing fairly alright, get Infiniti Edge

7. Phantom Dancer


8. Depending on how you're doing, this will decide your last item.
Ill put it this way:
- AP if you're fed: Zhonya's hourglass
- Guardian Angel if you aren't doing well.

9. Feel free to sell your Wriggle's lantern if necessary and get a Blood thirster


• Tips/Helpful stuff:
- Whenever you're going for the kill or joining a team fight, Avoid when possible starting with Deceive (Q). By doing this you will be able to use Deceive to escape, don't use it just to hit a critical, don't use it if it's not really necessary, always try to get to places by running normally and have your (Q) Deceive ready to be your escape chance.

- Ghost: Don't be afraid to use it, if you're far away from a team fight or helping your team mate, use Ghost and get there fast. Avoid using ghost to run away from the enemy, in case it's really necessary.

- A good technique to surprise someone who is low on health but is far away from you and it's not expecting anyone to come, use Deceive and Ghost. After using Deceive you will disappear from the map, he will not be able to see you and most people are distracted they won't even think that you're coming for him, then you active ghost to get there fast and surprise him, also if you believe that he will try to escape with flash, set up your Jack in the Box leading to where he will flash.

- Have HP Potions with you when possible. If you happen to use Deceive to escape with low health, and you happen to have an HP potion, use it and hide in a safe place until your HP goes up enough to re attack the enemy which will most probably will not be expecting you as you used Deceive with low health and he probably though that you recalled and took your time to come back. This will be effective if the enemy was low on health of course.

- SPAM Jack in the Box!. This is very important, spam it in any place that you can around the map, use Jack in the Box always when it's available.

- Don't focus on 1v1 until you have ultimate, and always be attentive to your team mates fighting the enemy, always be ready to come and help.

- Get Wriggle's lantern as soon as you can and dominate the jungle, this will be a huge part of your success to a good score/gameplay.

Hum... could work out on 5v5, but on 3v3 I'd still suggest AP troll shaco, since there are only 2 (4 when outer turrets down) possible paths to come down from top and you can set up 1-2 jax in those brushes.

 

No offense, but please no one use this guide.

The first thing wrong here is you are playing lane shaco ...and that's only one problem.

 

I've never actually played Shaco before, I suppose I could give this a try? His whole gameplay will change with the new patch anyway I think.

 

Yeah after the patch his game play shouldn't change unless you didn't how to play with him in the first place.

 

AD Shaco won't be changing at all unless you count his Deceive change as a buff.

Damn Riot and their AP Shaco hating ways. Once high elo calls it (Morgana) it's always going on the way out.

 

Very nice guide! I tried it out on 3v3 and went 9/2

 

Can easily counter that with vision wards.

 

simple, play an AP/AD hybrid, get boots and 2 health pot and 1 mana pot. Then get sheen, Ionian boots and trinity force. Then go for lich bane and rabadons. Nuff said.
